Any student interested in interning at CUNY DSI must send a resume and submit a formal letter of request to the CUNY DSI Director Dr. Ramona Hernandez at dsi@ccny.cuny.edu . Please title subject line Internship Request. The letter should include the reason you would like to intern at the CUNY DSI and the type of research you are interested in doing. Applications are due April 24 of each year by 11:59 p.m.

Requirements:

Students must be a full-time high school or undergraduate student. Students pursuing Master's degrees do not need to be enrolled full-time in school.

Students are required to intern for no less than four weeks during the summer.

All interns are required to work in two projects:

-The second project will be related to a research project currently undertaken by the CUNY DSI Research Unit. The second project could be individually assigned or may be carried out as part of a group under the guidance of the CUNY DSI Director.

Over the years, the CUNY Dominican Studies Institute has had student interns from various schools including Barnard College, Bergen County Community College, Brown University, Commack High School, SUNY-Geneseo, and Swarthmore. For more information please email: dsi@ccny.cuny.edu
