Biographical Note: Journalist Rafael Diaz was born in the Dominican Republic and migrated during the late 1990s to the City of New York. He produced television programs while working for the following local Spanish television shows: Revistas, Noticias, Santo Domingo al Día, and Entre Noticias.
Scope and Contents: The Rafael Diaz Videotape Collection consists of 201 Videotapes (6.97 cubic feet). The collection contains videotaped interviews of political figures, local political campaigns, local news, conferences, Dominican Day parades and civic organization events, the campaigns for the Dominican presidential elections and other information directed to the Dominican community in New York.
