Biographical Note: Journalist and activist Ramón Bodén was born in Samto Domingo, Dominican Republic on November 28, 1939. He moved to New York City in 1960. In 1976 he moved to Switzerland and lived there until November 1999, when he returned to New York City.
Scope and Content Note: The Ramón Bodén collection consists of newspaper clippings and news articles about Washington Heights; Major League baseball player Alex Rodríguez and other articles written by him including a plan to establish a Dominican Library in Washington Heights and other community social and political activities relating the Dominican population in New York City.
