Sumara S. Prince Davidson
The CUNY Dominican Studies Institute welcomed Sumara S. Prince Davidson, a CCNY alumna currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Linguistics at the University of Alcalá in Spain, as a Scholar-in-Residence during the summer of 2021. Her research focuses on the educational attainment amongst Dominicans in the United States, through an analysis of doctoral dissertations written by English-native Ph.D. students and Spanish-native Ph.D. students.
