Of Bicycles and Artificial Intelligence
A Lecture Prof. Zihao Zhang, Ph.D.

Zihao Zhang is a designer, educator, and scholar in landscape architecture. Through building transdisciplinary, critical analyses across design, engineering, and environmental humanities, his work interrogates the ramifications of cybernetics on contemporary culture and the constructed environment. As a landscape theorist, he provides critical analyses of the entanglement between nature and technology, the human and nonhuman realms, as well as ecosystems and intelligent machines.

Drawing on ideas from Science, Technology, and Society (STS) and Social Construction of Technology (SCOT), this talk offers an analytical framework for understanding AI advancements and enthusiasm in contemporary culture.
