Continuing IAS-CWE Students: All course enrollment at CWE is by appointment only with your assigned academic advisor, as listed in your Student Center in CUNY First. Please schedule your remote advising appointment through our virtual front desk. An email announcement indicating registration appointment openings will be sent directly to your citymail account from the office manager: nwoods2@ccny.cuny.edu .
CCNY(Uptown Campus) Students will need to meet with an academic advisor prior to registering for a course If they are knowledgeable of our Division. If you would like to know about our Division please register for an admissions workshop here.
Visiting/Non Degree: Students from other CUNY Schools, Visiting/Non Degree Visiting/Non Degree students, and students from other CUNY Colleges who wish to take downtown courses via Epermit should attend an admissions workshop go here to register or visit our admissions page.

- Log in to CUNY First and make sure your contact information is correct and up to date.
- Activate your Citymail Email Account, CUNY Portal and Web Checkout: Go Here.
- Contact the CWE Front Desk ( cwefrontdesk@ccny.cuny.edu ) to make a registration appointment with an Advisors.
- Attend the New Student Orientation on Tuesday, January 10th at the CWE Auditorium.
Activate and Claim Your Citizen CUNY First Portal Account
This is your private and secure one-stop access point to CUNY on-line services such as Blackboard, eMall and CUNYfirst. This is also where you can obtain your financial aid information, register for courses and learn about services and benefits offered through CUNY.

Activate Your CityMaill Account
Activating your CityMail account is an important step in your transition to becoming a full member of the City College Community. All matters related to your admission and enrollment at the College will be sent through your CityMail e-mail account, as well many important alerts and official announcements.
Your e-mail username also allows you to access the CCNY Wi-Fi, to log in to computers in the CWE Computer Lab (Closed temporarily due to the Pandemic).
