The Cohen Library is featuring a new exhibition showcasing recently published books by faculty and staff from the Division of Humanities and the Arts. The display brings together an extraordinary range of work—from novels and memoirs to scholarly studies, cultural histories, and explorations of pressing contemporary issues.
Visitors will find titles that span ancient Greek political thought, environmental justice, poetic meditations, Central East African trade and popular culture, Mediterranean politics, and even a fresh look at Einstein’s most controversial 1935 paper. There are works on stoicism and environmentalism, alongside creative nonfiction, fiction, and cultural criticism. In short: whatever your intellectual curiosity, someone in H&A has likely written a book that speaks to it.
This exhibition highlights the remarkable diversity of scholarship and artistic work across the division. Featured authors include:
- Arnaud Gerspacher — Environmental art historian exploring representations of animals in modern and contemporary art.
- Isabel M. Estrada — Professor of Iberian and Latin American Cultures and leading scholar of Spanish literature and culture.
