Tuition Payment Plan

Continuing and Professional Studies (CPS) at the City College of New York (CCNY) is pleased to offer tuition payment plans. The CPS Tuition Payment Plan enables you to easily afford your education expenses.
The CPS Tuition Payment Plan is a convenient, interest-free way to budget education expenses. Payments are deducted automatically from your credit or debit card. CPS offers 3 types of payment plans.
 

Quick Facts

  • To be eligible, your charges for tuition and fees must total $500 or more
  • CPS accepts credit, debit, money order, and bank certified checks
  • Must set up automatic payments with your credit or debit card only
  • CPS will provide you with the tuition amount and other fees that may be budgeted
  • Any applicable scholarships and financial aid awards are verified and reflected in the payment amount
  • If a payment is late, declined, or returned, you will be charged a $30 CPS late/return payment fee for each late payment or declined payment attempt
  • All payment plans must be completed before classes begin

 

Option 1: Monthly Payment Plan

The Monthly Payment Plan offers the option to pay 50% of your tuition upon registration and the remaining balance in equal monthly installments. This payment plan must be completed before classes begin.
  • 50% down payment due at registration
  • Equal monthly payments on the 20th of each month
  • Final payment due before 1st class

 

Additional Tips & Information

  • If the payment due date falls on a day when the CPS office is closed, charges will be made the next business day
  • If a payment is declined or returned, it will be reattempted one (1) week later, and you will be charged a $30 CPS return payment fee for each declined payment attempt
  • If a payment is late, you will be charged a $30 late payment fee
  • You may make additional payments towards your balance at any time
  • Students may not attend classes until their payment plan is complete
  • CPS reserves the right to restrict future enrollment in CPS Tuition Payment Plans based on student payment history

Cancellation / Refund Policy

  • A $25 non-refundable registration fee will be included in all down payments.
  • Students may cancel up to (5) business days before the class begins and receive a full refund minus the $25 registration fee. Student cancellations occurring after (5) days prior to the first day of class will not be eligible for a refund.
  • If CPS cancels a class for any reason, students may transfer their registration to another class for no additional fee or request a refund.
  • Refund requests must be made in writing
