NYS - Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA) Employee Development Program
CSEA-represented NYS Employees can now take non-credit courses and access education and training services at no cost at CCNY!
NYS employees who are CSEA-represented can continue to develop professionally and benefit by registering for non-credit or certificate courses at no cost, covering up to $1,220.
This program aims to enable employees to achieve greater career mobility, qualify for promotional opportunities, improve job skills, and prepare for future state workforce needs through the following:
Tuition Vouchers: Use vouchers to help pay for tuition at over 150 participating providers.
Tuition Reimbursement: Get reimbursed for tuition pre-paid to an approved provider following course completion.
Credit-by-Exam Fee Reimbursement: Get reimbursed for an unlimited number of eligible exams up to a maximum of $350 per exam.
Certification and Licensure Exam Fee Reimbursement: You will be reimbursed for an unlimited number of eligible exams, up to a maximum of $350 per exam.
Adult Education Basics: You can get tuition assistance for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), High School Equivalency (HSE), preparatory, or remedial courses.

This program will cover up to $1,220 of a certificate program or course from a qualifying institution, CCNY CPS being one. It can be applied to any program excluding entrepreneurial/business development, recreational/physical development, and beauty/appearance enhancement courses.
For courses/programs exceeding the above amount, individuals will be responsible for covering the remaining balance.
