GSOE Executive in Residence Career Development in the Engineering Disciplines
The City College Grove School of Engineering is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Tilak Agerwala as the 2019/2020 Executive in Residence. Dr Agerwala brings decades of experience in the development of advanced computing capabilities and the application of modeling, simulation, analytics, and machine learning, to enable transformational solutions in science, engineering, healthcare, education and national security. As the GSOE Executive in Residence, he will work with GSOE students in these areas as an advisor, mentor and teacher, and will specifically address career development, ethics, diversity and inclusion, and key technology trends. Dr. Agerwala also serves a member of the GSOE External Advisory Board.
Join us on October 17 in welcoming Dr. Agerwala to the GSOE. The first of a series of talks, panel discussions and mentoring activities will be focused on Career Development in the Engineering Disciplines. Areas to be covered will include the Digital Transformation of Engineering, Jobs of the Future, Diversity of Thinking, Ethics, Mentoring and the T-Shaped approach to Career Development.
