Get assistance with filing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and your New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application for the 2025-2026 or 2026–2027 academic year.

Before the Workshop, You MUST:

Go online to www.studentaid.gov and create an FSA ID for:

  • Yourself

  • Your spouse (if applicable)

  • Your contributors (parents)

What You Will Need:

FAFSA 2026–2027:

  • Your (and your parents’) Social Security Numbers

  • Parent(s)/spouse’s email address

  • 2024 Federal Tax Return (including all applicable schedules)

  • 2024 W-2s and other records of income for student, spouse (if applicable), and parents

New York State Aid Application 2026-2027 (for NY Residents):

  • 2024 New York State Tax Return (including all applicable schedules)

  • 2024 W-2 Forms and income records for yourself, your spouse (if applicable), and your parents

FAFSA 2025–2026:

  • Your (and your parents’) Social Security Numbers

  • Parent(s)/spouse’s email address

  • 2023 Federal Tax Return (including all applicable schedules)

  • 2023 W-2s and other records of income for student, spouse (if applicable), and parents

New York State Aid Application 2025-2026 (for NY Residents):

  • 2023 New York State Tax Return (including all applicable schedules)

  • 2023 W-2 Forms and income records for yourself, your spouse (if applicable), and your parents
