To help students reach their academic goals the Service Desk’s mission is to effectively and efficiently serve as the primary point of contact for students seeking a resolution to IT services provided by the college and IT.  Select support provided by the Office of Information Technology may include services for supplied laptops, mobile devices, software, hardware, and operating systems. We ensure that all possible measures are taken to troubleshoot and resolve the issue in a timely manner.

Let the NYPL show you how to get access to over 3,000 online courses for FREE with lynda.com by using your NYPL card!

What is lynda.com?

lynda.com is an online education company offering thousands of video courses in software, creative, and business skills. The company produces video tutorials taught by industry experts. NYPL cardholders have unlimited access to watch the videos, which are primarily educational.**.
This online learning site hosts a constantly growing library of over 3,000 courses that include over 130,000 videos.

Courses cover a variety of topics (including business, design, web development and multimedia skills) and software (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and open source applications) that can help you pursue personal and professional goals. These courses are delivered by expert instructors and feature searchable transcripts that make it easy to find quick answers to questions.

They also feature Certificates of Completion that can be uploaded to a LinkedIn profile.
As a NYPL cardholder you can access lynda.com on your mobile devices by using the NYPL Portal link (https://www.lynda.com/portal/patron?org=nypl.org ) NYPL cardholder accounts are not accessible through lynda.com apps. Use your mobile device’s browser.
