Welcome to the Office of Financial Aid
The City College Financial Aid Office administers federal and state funds, as well as those provided by special programs, the City University of New York, and the College itself, to ensure that you have the opportunity to pursue higher education at CCNY. Our office works with you to combine scholarships, grants, loans, work-study opportunities and governmental benefits into a package to help meet the difference between the cost of college and the contributions you and your family are expected to provide.
Feel free to learn about the requirements about grants, scholarships and loan programs. Most of our awards are need based, and you will must maintain good academic standing to qualify. Please review the Federal and New York State Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements.
Students who do not meet SAP may submit an appeal to have their federal financial aid reinstated. For more information, please review the deadline page on the financial aid webpage.
Note: Please refer to the CUNYfirst Student Financial Aid Guide by clicking this link.

Follow-Up
If you submitted the FAFSA online, you should receive your FAFSA Submission Summary within a few weeks.
Carefully review it to ensure all information is accurate. If you find any errors, you can make corrections online at studentaid.gov. Be sure to follow up with your CUNYfirst To-Do List for any additional requirements.
Document Submissions
You can now verify your FAFSA documents electronically through CampusLogic Student Forms
Student Forms is our new student portal that allows students (and parents) to electronically sign and upload documents! This means you can securely submit your financial aid documents without needing to visit the campus Financial Aid Office.
As students and college financial aid staff work through the forms, the Student Forms software provides real-time updates on any additional documentation needed based on the information submitted. Once you have completed all required forms to resolve outstanding financial aid tasks, the integration with other CUNY systems will update CUNYfirst in real time. CampusLogic Student Forms
How to Create an Account
CUNY has implemented Single Sign-On (SSO) for CUNY Student Forms. You will see the “Verify My FAFSA” To-Do list item in your CUNYfirst Student Center. Clicking this link will direct you to the CUNY Student Forms website, where the SSO will log you into the portal.
Once logged in, you will need to confirm your personal identifying information (Name, SSN, and Date of Birth) to match your FAFSA. After successfully creating your account, you can complete all tasks electronically.

CUNY Financial Aid Estimator
The CUNY Financial Aid Estimator offers you and your family an early estimate of potential financial aid and net price based on your financial and educational information. Most users complete it in 5–10 minutes. The net price reflects the estimated cost of attendance minus estimated aid, helping you gauge CUNY’s affordability.
Please note: Completing the estimator is not a financial aid application. Results are estimates only and do not represent final awards. To apply for federal aid, you must submit the FAFSA at studentaid.gov.
