Academic Advising

The Office of Student Success provides academic advising for lower and upper division students, individually and in groups, concerning academic requirements and selection of courses. Academic advisors perform graduation audits, verify students' general education requirements, and work closely with students on academic probation to devise strategies for academic success. Academic advisors also refer students to resources on campus, including internships, enrichment programs, study abroad, career services, financial aid, and comprehensive counseling. Our Academic Support Services team works with academic departments and programs to create, implement, and/or support integrated academic tutoring services as needed that support skills development in writing, quantitative analysis, and research methods. In addition, the office supports opportunities for students to conduct research, and present their work at academic conferences.
