October 2023 Update
This month the project proceeds with the creation of the new IDF (distribution) rooms throughout the building. These expanded rooms will house the additional number of IT switch racks required to control the new data equipment that will be installed in almost every room in the building.
Demolition has mostly been completed in these rooms and the project has moved onto construction of the new walls and floor layout.
Additionally, the project has begun the installation of new WAPs (wireless access points) in the Shepard Hall Yard on Convent Avenue that will provide WiFi capabilities in these outside spaces.
