Dear CCNY Community:
For this project update we can share that removal of existing pavers and installation of the temporary waterproofing at the West side of the Plaza is 90% complete. Currently, the contractor is working on the temporary waterproofing at the West and North side of the Plaza Level and installation of the roof drains. For this 30-day period, the contractor is anticipated to finalize temporary waterproofing installation at the Plaza level.
Plaza Level is a construction zone and pedestrian access to the Plaza is restricted for emergency use only. Directional signs are posted where required directing pedestrians to the nearest exit. There will be noise and dust as the demolition takes place.
