August 2023 Update
This month the project kicks off starting with the first 3 elevators to replaced. These elevators are numbered 1 2, 11 and 13.
Elevator #1 #2 is in Bank A on the south side of the building (Aronow Theater).
Elevator #11 is in the north side of the building near the loading docks.
Elevator #13 services the cafeteria kitchen.
Demolition will begin in the elevator pits and machine rooms this month. These elevators are expected to be put back into operation by the end of the Fall Semester.
Note: For the duration of the project, there will never be both elevators that occupy the same bank down at the same time, with a maximum of 3 elevators out of service for replacement at a time.
