Shepard Hall IT Upgrades
The purpose of this project is to implement major improvements to the data infrastructure of historic Shepard Hall. This includes the creation of 5 new IT rooms (IDFs) at different locations in the building as well as the installation of new data cabling and devices to almost every room. New Wireless Access Points (WAPs) will be installed throughout the building as well as on the lawns next to Convent Avenue. These devices will greatly enhance the WiFi capabilities for each office, classroom, and public space in and around Shepard Hall.
This project is expected to start in August of 2023 and take two years to complete.
